Questions

Allergens

These crystal candies are handcrafted in a cottage home bakery.  Individuals with food allergies should be aware that ingredients such as milk, eggs, tree nuts, and other major allergens may be handled in the same environment, and cross-contact is possible.

PROCESSED AND PREPARED BY A HOME-BASED FOOD PRODUCTION OPERATION THAT IS NOT SUBJECT TO SOUTH CAROLINA’S FOOD SAFETY REGULATIONS.

Limited Releases

Because crystal candy requires significant curing time and is produced entirely by hand, quantities are naturally limited.

Each release reflects the completion of a curing cycle, which means availability depends on when batches are ready. Once a batch sells out, the next release will not appear until a new set of candies has finished curing.

Returns and Exchanges

Because crystal candy is an edible product, returns and exchanges are not accepted.

If an order arrives damaged or there is an issue with the shipment, customers are encouraged to reach out so the matter can be addressed promptly

Shelf Life

Shelf life depends on whether the candy contains a filling.

Stuffed Crystal Candies

Crystal candies that contain fillings such as gummies, creams, marshmallow centers, or other inclusions are crafted fresh and should be enjoyed within two weeks of delivery for optimal quality and texture.

Classic Crystal Candies

Crystal candies that do not contain fillings have a significantly longer shelf life. When stored properly in a cool, dry environment, these pieces can maintain their quality for six to twelve months. They will continue for form a hard exterior.

Shipping and Temperature

Environmental conditions during shipping can occasionally soften the outer shell. This is temporary and does not affect the quality or safety of the candy.

Allowing the candy to rest at room temperature in a dry environment will typically allow the shell to regain its crispness.

Storage

Crystal candy should be stored at room temperature in a cool, dry environment.

Refrigeration is not recommended, as cold storage introduces moisture that may soften the delicate outer shell and affect the texture.

If the candy softens due to humidity or shipping conditions, allowing it to rest at room temperature in a dry location will often allow the exterior to firm up again as it settles.

Humidity is the primary factor that affects the crisp exterior of crystal candy
